He's done this in an attempt to get the news to fans earlier rather than later and avoid any surprises upon the games release. The omissions are indeed surprising, but we appreciate his openness and honesty.

This is in contrast to the demo announcement at Gamescom, that it would be released September 11th. Also it seems this is not the newer code that was the cause of the demo delay, but is instead preview code, from which most of the communities negative impressions originated.

Konami have released a new trailer for PES 2014 that shows the AFC Champions League. This accompanies news that Konami have also secured 2 Saudi Arabian stadiums. The Prince Abdullah al-Faisal Stadium which is the home ground of Al-Ahli SC and Al-Ittihad FC and The King Fahd International Stadium, the home ground of Al-Hilal, Al Nassr, Al Shabab and the Saudi Arabian national team. They are similar to the Chilean cover, seen here, in that they feature players from the corresponding leagues. For the remainder of the South America region, a Copa Libertadores themed cover is being used. This is in contrast to the European cover that simply features Champions League art and no cover star.
